visit to Nova Scotia

My wife Betsy and I recentl ly got back from a weeklong trip, partly to research my next novel, volume 5 of the ABC Files, and partly to see friends Mike and Veronique in Chester. We had a great time, and a nice string of warm sunny days to add to the enjoyment! We stayed in Amherst, Halifax, Chester and Yarmouth, the latter before taking the Cat to Bar Harbor, Maine. We also visited Truro, which will figure prominently in volume 5, tentatively titled Evil in Summerland. Sorry to disappoint, but Summerland is the name of an African country in the book!

We also ran across a charming bookstore, LaHave River Books, and the owner now has my collection of the first 3 novels, as well as the 4th, Evil Ever Lives, for sale in her store. Here is a picture of the outside of the store.
